trip finished, finally managed to fly back my so-called home, many things happened in e past one week, met so many diff ppl, had lots of reflections, had new insight towards traveling again.....
got a companion to explore the west part of Egypt, spent days to explore all those oases, actually was really kinda wasting time to go for tat route, for ppl who had so tight timing shouldn't really do tat kind of slow exploration, but no choice, seems tat i had made quite a lot of wrong decisions, just cos of one deviant thought, everything went wrong at e end.........
the most exciting part was to went for a 2 days safari trip, riding on e jeep wasn't as scary as it sounds, was fun to ride on the desert tat way, the black & white deserts were one of e most beautiful nature scenes i've seen in my life, too bad didn't hv a chance (gut?) to go for e sand massage, am sure it'd be super nice to sleep under e sand for e whole nite, watched sunset & moonrise every nite for e past one whole week, didn't expect tat ~~
supposed to take 5 hrs bus to go back to cairo on 18th noon, suddenly there came thousand protesters from e oasis region & blocked the highway to/fro cairo, egyptian police wasn't really doing anything helpful, at e end we were all stuck at this small town cos no transport were allowed to pass thro, there were at least 10 tourists got stuck there & many of us gotta rush to Cairo to catch the flights, at e end some chose to try the dangerous route, take e jeep to e desert & go a big round to avoid those protesters, but it was nearly sunset & it might be more dangerous to be in e desert at nite, moreover e jeep drivers were definitely asking for a big lump sum of $$, most importantly no one knew when the protest would be finished & e road could be cleared, was actually struggling to go for tis choice but at e end changed my mind again at e very last min, really not sure if i'd make e rite decision......
spent another 24hrs at e small town & kept asking & checking e latest news, finally e road was cleared for e small vans but not for e big bus, managed to find a group of tourists to share it & finally we could head to cairo last nite..........
anyway, i did miss my flight ytd but luckily there was another early flight tis morning, if not i m gonna miss my 3 days DAC block & my $$$ lost would be even more.......
due to all these hassles, my last day was wasted & i didn't manage to see e pyramids/ e famous egyptian museum, wat a shame~~
